Will have to lodge a complaint with Customs Canada though… obviously they opened the box (ended up paying taxes duties on the invoice value! No probs, still worth it). I just bought my first Rolex from Cayce (a.k.a. The Timekeeper). What a tremendous experience
I called him about a new GMT II that he was offering. Exactly what I wanted. He seemed extremely knowledgeable when answering my questions. I decided to buy. The watch was being shipped from one of his stores. I decided to go meet him and bring him a check. We chatted for about a half hour about watches, cars, etc. I told him that I would pick up my new watch several days later as I was going on a business trip. As I am leaving, I mentioned how nice it was going to be to have a timepiece again as I had broken my Seiko two months prior and had no backup. This guy takes the GMT off of his wrist and hands it to me. He says to keep it until I get back from my trip to pick up my watch! Keep in mind that I only gave him a personal check and he had just met me for the first time! I show up 4 days later to pick up my watch (and return the "loaner"). He sizes the bracelet for me and provides me a written appraisal for my insurance company. Wow! What a great experience.

Just a follow-up note to say that after 3 months the "P' series Sea-Dweller I purchased in late April runs like a dream and settled in to +2 to +3 seconds per day when removing it, and less than that when wearing it 24/7. Wonderful watch, and I'm very satisfied.

but thank you for getting the item on time for my husband's graduation.he completed his MBA and marched last saturday, 6/10 and really happy I got him the rolex. he's not fond of wearing watches, but this time he is now wearing the one he wants.
i promised my family, every one who graduates gets a rolex. i got my daughter (youngest child) a brand new one last year; my husband got is (90% new); my son (second child) finishes in June 2002 (that gives me enough time to save). i'm glad you are there and with the opportunity to get them started on a rolex with not too much money.when the members of my family are making all the money , then they can decide to upgrade their watches themselves. I now have to work on my eldest (son) who is just 6 units away from a diploma but does not see the importance of graduating. maybe a more expensive
